I was so excited to participate in #CivicLearningWeek by participating in #OTWV #OnTuesdaysWeVote! My students were asked, "Should civics education be a requirement for high school graduation?" The ones who said no, still said it was important and should be incorporated into their classwork!

I've really been trying to make my history lessons connect clearly to contemporary issues. So for my college class on the Depression and New Deal, I am using @RetroReport's lesson on the generational impact of the FHA and redlining. That makes me extra glad to say:
