What the holy hell just happened in that press conference. That had to have been planned for JD Vance to go off like that, but good on Zelensky for not just taking the lecture.

@smerconish.bsky.social the cruelty and chaos of this administration’s approach to cutting costs is rationalized by his supporters because we need to spend less and pay off the debt. If you don’t use the money to do that then all this just turns into a manifestation of sadopopulism.
