Spent yesterday doing the "touching grass" thing. Because we had no rain during much of August and all of September, the colors this year are... pretty shit. But I found some bright spots.

The far hill also has many trees in mostly greens, yellows, and rust brown, but intermingled are large patches of dark green evergreens, and visible light grey granite outcroppings.
