This surgery has made me question how tough I really am….but today, I am in pants and have ventured into the world to have my hair washed (yes, this is the first time it will be out of the bun I put it in on surgery morning) and my follow up appt to remove the stints. I’ll call today a win.

I’m having a septoplasty with turbinate reduction and a maxillary antrostomy. All the fun, lol!

I’m not sure I will win over the head nurse…but I’m going to keep trying, lol!

There are no words to ease the heartache of losing a parent while also mourning the loss your child feels. I gathered every pic I could of my dad with my kids and my niece and nephew and put them on thumb drives for each one. Then had pouches made from his shirts to put them in for them.

If for nothing else…I’m coming to your house just to cook you a homemade meal!
