Urban ArtWorks' Spring 2025 Kirkland Arts Center Mural Apprentice Program will host 15 teens and will be facilitated by 2 Teaching Artists. Teens ages 14-19 years will learn how to research, design and install a public artwork in Seattle. This is a paid opportunity and no art experience is required.

My daughter was part of the fall 2024 cohort and loved the experience, 2.5 hours twice a week. The cohort of teens collaborated to design and paint a beautiful mural for the Center for Human Services building. She also liked getting a stipend check for $500 at the end of the program, too!
