That’s my dog. I am human.
Thought that was your 2025 word. Guess you’ll have to keep pushing!

lol. I did this and now trying to retroactively put parents in the category of people you don’t swear in front of. Downsides indeed

Why are you going to Toronto?!? Montreal is so much more fun

Why does it think you’re a teenager?!?

Yikes. That sounds tough. When I have an old hard bag I use a wire to cut it into 10-12 blocks, drench each then stack them back together and close them up in the bag for a week. Sometimes it comes out too wet but I find that easier to deal with.

Good description. I rehydrate clay that cracks like that.
Is it possible that you don’t know what ‘normal’ softness feels like? I’ve thrown clay that sticks to the table like wet dough when I start wedging. (Too wet but preferable to too dry for me)

How does it feel when you’re wedging? That’s when I can tell if my clay needs hydrating.

I refuse to use the many recipes that lie about how long it takes to caramelize onions just to claim a 30 minute meal!

TBF ray, that sounds kinda like a justification for male stubbornness.

I started following you for ceramics and was surprised and delighted to find that your political commentary is as creative and poignant as your art.
I’m so sorry you have to spend your creative energies arguing for the right to exist. You are appreciated.

I love Deborah Madison’s chestnut lentil soup. Like all her recipes a bit more work than a weeknight meal but absolutely worth it. I make it a couple of times each fall when chestnuts are available. www.thestar.com/life/food-an...

I’ve been wondering with the vaccine situation if we don’t need to be ready to restart testing/ quarantine for visitors from the United States.

Ah! There was a story on CBC about a Quebec coffin maker hurt by tariffs and how they no longer ship to the US
