For this week’s #showmeyourknits I’ll give my current smaller WIP some love… a sample of a cowl pattern I’m designing. Yarn is Dirty Water DyeWorks Lucia DK in Sea Glass. I’m also still cranking on the Calamity Shawl and some Vireo Mitts are in a pile of neglect in my office. 🧶

This week's #showmeyourknits is all about stripes. I love stripes, yet somehow this Fleur Shawl is the only striped thing I've ever knit. I do have plans for a black and white striped sweater with a funky neckline eventually.

I’ve been swatching away, working on my first knitting pattern design. It’s fun to sketch things out, grab some yarn, needles and books and see where the process takes me. Eventually this will be a cowl with cables, bobbles and all kinds of crossed stitches. #knitting 🧶
