I'm confused.....

So we want to quote the Bible when we talk about who can marry who and abortion but we get mad and say that we religion doesn't belong in politics when a Bishop asks for someone to have empathy and compassion for people? You know, the stuff that is actually in the Bible.

Does anyone else feel like we are living in an alt reality right now? Like we're just waiting for everyone to realize that we are in the bad place? Then we can all work together and get to the good place.
