It’s still 1.2 million people choosing an overtly racist party as their first preference, an increase of over 300,000 ppl since last election. I’m not saying it’s the most important result but still worth talking about as we see support for far right parties grow around the world.

Interesting how all the politicians who rushed to condemn the hecklers criticised them desecrating the solemnity of ANZAC day and not for their racism and disrespect of Aboriginal people.

Even if we reverted to 2015 tax rate, illicit cigs would still be cheaper. People who buy cheap illicit products won’t suddenly switch back to legal ones. Yes, taxation may have contributed to this problem but it is misleading to suggest that we can simply tax our way out of it.
