He’s really annoyed that it won’t multiply variables for polynomials. And now I’m wondering if it’s possible to do it…

This is so cool! I didn’t really learn spreadsheets until I started teaching math and now I need a plan to teach my middle schoolers at least some basics.

I do have one 8th grader that uses google sheets instead of a calculator and it’s kind of fascinating to watch.

I ask kids all the time why the math gods allow something… a squared times a squared is a to the 4th. Why are we allowed to do that?!
