Remember that the revelation about the worm was part of a deposition from divorce proceedings and his effort to claim he had cognitive decline that reduced his earning power and therefore should reduce alimony 🙃

Is EveryAction or some SMS shortcode vendor having a security breach?

My spouse and I noticed we’ve been getting phishing texts from trusted shortcodes like @careinaction.bsky.social and @fightforaunion.bsky.social 😬

Never forget who made this possible.

I love DC.

ICYMI: DC’s @cmlewisgeorgew4.bsky.social Chicago’s Ald. Andre Vasquez and LA’s CM. Hugo Soto-Martínez joined together on an op-ed urging other cities to reject “the old playbook to meet this moment — we need to fight with every tool we have, and create new ones.”

I knew this generals’ meeting was a security nightmare, but I didn’t realize it’s one made especially dangerous because of the shutdown. Gift link: wapo.st/3VFFuXV

This perfectly encapsulates my concerns — and the dangers of Trump & RFK Jr.’s recklessness and disinformation.

Watching the House Oversight meeting on DC and the ACIP meeting at the same time; Home Rule, democracy and immunizations are all under attack. *thisisfine.gif*

History is clear on this point @mayorbowser.bsky.social: you cannot obey in advance. Offering our neighbors up to authoritarians “is teaching power what it can do” and would compromise our values and undermine DC law.

Trump will only demand more and more of us — it will never placate him.

Empty tables at Jaleo too 😭

Ample parking spots downtown on a Friday night during an occupation.

This is DC — it’s friendly sidewalks and neighbors looking out for each other. It’s green spaces and urban landscapes. It’s families and friends.

DC is a community of real people — not a political punching bag or vehicle for a lie-fueled campaign to distract from a disastrous presidency. #Statehood

The Trump Administration’s limits on enforcing the FACE Act (except supposedly in extreme instances) has emboldened extremists, and we will sadly see more bombings like this in the future.

Trump is just trolling us

I accidentally gave my son a dose from my adult spray. I panicked for a bit until I saw the dosage.

I’m so mad — what a scam. It was like $3 more expensive. 😭

For full transparency (shoutout to the tireless @walkerbragman.bsky.social), I incorrectly that Bhattacharya was confirmed by UC — the UC was to invoke cloture. This is a sign I need to log off and energize to fight another day, but I wanted to delete so I wasn’t spreading bad info.

Hey Walker — I have egg on my face because I did quickly check elsewhere before posting, but I missed @senategabe.bsky.social’s follow up that this was just invoking cloture, not the full confirmations. I’m going to delete my first skeet because I don’t want to spread bad info!

🎯 Extremely vulnerable Dems voted no on this same CR. And some Senate Dems can’t muster the courage?

“…Ocasio-Cortez did not hold back on her criticism of Senate Democrats for backing out of a vote that all but one battleground House Democrat was willing to take.” www.cnn.com/2025/03/13/p...

The thing folks need to understand is there's no benefit to the federal government for doing this - it just hurts DC residents, and that's entirely the point.

They would be no savings from this measure, because this is DC revenue that's been raised and being spent - not federal dollars.
