I don't know if you were just hatched but I've been on FB for 17 years and they were scrutinized for privacy issues most of those years. Twitter, i don't care about since Elon ruined it. But they were also scrutinized before that.

I don't think the text limit on blue sky would allow me to explain 4 yrs of observations on TT. But i promise user stupidity, gullibility and lack of critical thinking skills is 99% the issue. TT may be as innocent as they claim, but they sure don't do anything about the data collection either.
