Honored to present my #malaria research for the second time at @NHMU’s Scientist in the Spotlight. From staining blood smears IDing to #parasites under the microscope, it was a privilege to engage visitors and teach about the #science of asymptomatic malaria in #Cameroon.

We have formed a team for the Move Against Malaria 5K! We’d love it if you considered joining our team for our hike on April 25th. We also hope you’ll consider donating to our fundraiser! $10 buys a bed net to protect a child from mosquito-borne diseases.

Malaria affects us all. Over half the world’s population live in endemic areas, and in the age of globalization, no one is safe until it’s gone. It increases susceptibility to other infections & overwhelms healthcare systems, inhibiting surveillance/prevention for other diseases. #BeatMalaria
