This is a clip of a video the WH posted. I don’t agree with the WH much lately, but this is pretty accurate.

Vought is running the show.

Trump is his mindless minion (with a cowbell!)

An their policies are killing Americans.

Took leave this afternoon to deliver a letter from nearly 900 (and growing) current and former Feds asking Congress to pass a continuing resolution that ends executive overreach and protects the American people.

Join us! Feds and fed allies welcomed to sign. actionnetwork.org/forms/civil-...

Jay Bhattacharya is a confirmed speaker at the National Conservatism Conference.

And he had the audacity to yell at the Bethesda Declaration signers for “making it political” when we hosted a rally to support NIH science.

There’s nothing political about supporting science.

Jay Bhattacharya says that Program Officers made up banned words lists at NIH.

This is a real email I got at NIH. (Granted, before Jay started.) But nothing has changed since he joined.

I refused to censor the summary, so it remains unposted. And I have tried since Jay arrived.

A friend traveling in Boston shared this posted on a street poll.

This was especially meaningful since I grew up outside Boston. ❤️

Wow! So Bhattacharya is now saying in right leaning rags that it’s been rogue program officers that created banned words lists at NIH. 🤣

What a sad, small person he is!

“Program officers ‘took it upon themselves’ to create ad hoc, unofficial lists…”

Particularly galling because NIH research literally saved his daughter’s life. www.motherjones.com/wp-content/u...

Today #NIH leadership were told no funds can go out for research project grants, R&D contracts or training grants.

We have just a couple weeks to get funds out the door before Russel Vought attempts a #PocketRescission on Aug 15.

Even if this ends up being temporary, it’s time we don’t have.

On Thursday, the Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to grant them a stay on the Massachusetts vs Kennedy/ APHA vs NIH ruling. This decision will occur on the shadow docket, with no formal hearing.

Love this beautiful art from a talented #NIH Colleague, posted by #SaveHealthResearch on Instagram. Follow them there if you’re not already!

The completion of these RIFs is a tragedy, for the individuals directly affected, for the #NIH, and for the American people, who are robbed of the hard work and talent of these professionals.

#FreeSpeech is not partisan.

#NIH science helps you regardless of who you voted for.

#Democracy is fundamental for all Americans.

Join us in fighting for it.

At the Science Fair for canceled grants, I had the privilege of speaking with @naomicaselli.bsky.social. Her team (which includes deaf researchers) were making breakthroughs to better identify & address language deprivation — when the Trump administration terminated their grant.

I also had the honor of supporting the #EPA139 at a press briefing with @standupforscience.bsky.social.

These brave whistleblowers who spoke up to defend the American people experienced retaliation from Lee Zeldin and the Trump administration.

We cannot allow whistleblowers to be silenced!

Very grateful to have had the chance to attend the Science Fair of Cancelled Grants today.

As a program officer overseeing health equity research, I’ve heard far too many stories of lost science, lost careers, and lost jobs.

I support the EPA signers and:

Their commitment to the country.

Their right to free speech.

Their integrity.

This is the oath we all swear as Feds when we start our jobs. It may sound outdated or stuffy, but my colleagues and I take it seriously. We are here to serve the American people, and we endeavor to do so every single day that we show up to work.

Flagging this from #NIH Director #JayLies Bhattacharya. He conveniently fails to link the article he references. Probably because it looks pretty awful when your policies risk cancer patients’ lives. www.washingtonpost.com/science/2025...

My daughter wanted to be included in the interviews I’ve been doing lately. So I decided to interview her myself:

So grateful for my family, who have put up with my late nights and distractedness and shorter than usual fuse with the stress of these past 4+ months. They challenge me to be better every day.

I signed the #BethesdaDeclaration for my kids. I want a better future for them, and for all of the children in our country. Please, join me! act.standupforscience.net/forms/add-na...
