My cat Pickle has a scent that is faintly cinnamon-like. When he lies across my shoulder and drapes down my front I can smell him and it relaxes me.

Many nights I'm up late and can't sleep. Everything is quiet and I feel very alone. It's not a bad feeling. I like alone. I like quiet. Then Pickle comes up and hugs me. He grabs hold and won't let go. I feel sad and high and pet him. His purrs relax me.
