There are other countries that use raised beds for strawberries. Unfortunately here in the US, profit overrides human health.

Guy I know hit a small rock & he went flying over the handlebars. Would be dead or paralyzed if not for his helmet. Cars aren’t the only danger & accidents like my friend’s are unpredictable. I don’t go a single block without a helmet, anywhere.

He didn’t hire her. He basically date-raped her. And she even lost money when he git her sanctioned. Not a good example.

Not so much regional though, but the individual church/community. You can find communities of Kansas born Mennonites in Central California, for example. Many came during and after the Depression.

Yes, but there’s no good excuse for having Bartiromo on the Board for well over a decade. NYU Administration has a history of hiring burned out Repubs for faculty positions as well. Ken Starr was a prime example.

Now just run a viable dem or independent candidate in her district, please.

A reminder to NYU grads when you get that donation request: Maria Bartiromo is still on the NYU Board of Trustees.

The age of golden showers, apparently.

Culturally Mennonite is an acurate description of my atheist parent. Same as someone who is Jewish, but not religious. They are still Jewish & that is heritage. Individuals define themselves, but I would argue that it’s inappropriate for others to redefine another to their own preference.

As someone with a lot of back pain myself, this just made me so mad. So unnecessary. It may be gone, but there’s much more to correct in ag work.

And EEOC is a collaborator as well.

In most states it is not privileged information. I have subpoenaed attorney bills a number of times myself.

A lot of us are married to or in a relationship with an immigrant as well. Or have inlaws that are immigrants. And friends.
March 27, 2025 at 2:41 PM
Dems need to start campaigning on this stuff. Now.
March 27, 2025 at 2:39 PM
Exceptionally strange. What is the dog looking at? Is that another kid in the tree? Cupid’s arrow??? Red?
March 27, 2025 at 2:38 PM
Billing is a separate matter from the legal representation, and so not privileged. But regardless my guess is that disclosure of hours to “3rd party” will be a condition of representation.
March 23, 2025 at 4:14 PM
All Dem politicians need to be doing this.
March 22, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Shameful. I have to wonder if this arrangement violates NY Rules of Professional Conduct. It seems that it may implicate some of the softer provisions at least.

I gave up on Wirecutter a long time ago. Too many bad or misinformed recs. It was relatively okay until NYT bought it.

Schumer hated the vote. I am a constituent & asked him to vote NO on cloture+. Then I read his editorial, did research etc., and it would have shut down the courts in a short time, which is deadly in this scenario. Felon would have ordered marshall law, insta dictatorship. So no, Schumer stays.

There was no will. At least for Rs.
