When the basic foundations of life are interrupted! Think in terms of Maslows Hierarchy of Needs. People are fine until the foundational bottom layers are gone:

The problem is that many think the DOE determines the curriculum for the states. The states do this!! The DOE helps to ensure that programs are there for the disabled, Pell Grant funds are distributed evenly throughout the country and so on. Many don't know all they do and that is the problem..

This is why I just say " get an education".. That could be at a college, a trade school, or any apprentice/ training program. We need to stop the divide that one is better than the other but promote getting an education. Learn something..

I believe, not a legal expert here, that if the charges are dropped, they can be refiled at a later date versus having a judge dismiss the charges with prejudice (meaning they could not file). It sucks, but it does not rule out picking this back up after his term is over.
