I love sharing knowledge with others!
Stuff like this makes teaching students how to research so much harder. Sources that were once easy to trust aren't. The mental shortcuts millennial, gen x, and boomer profs have taught them do not apply anymore and students of all ages are STRUGGLING.
Dear the Media,

When something bad happens in an area under the executive branch's purview, and the White House goes "uh... a Black or gay person must've done it," you do not need to accept that. You're allowed to follow up in pursuit of the factual reason, not the bigoted excuse.

Love,
The public

Bravo to Sen. Alsobrooks for her question.

“We should not be giving Black people the same vaccine schedule as Whites because their immune system is better than ours.” — RFK Jr

This is the deadlier version of the racist myth that Black people feel less pain, leading to denied pain meds.

I really hate being in the "find out" stage when I'm not the one who fucked around.

TFW: you present one session on AI at an institution-wide in-service and co-author a course on AI for Students and then get invited to co-chair an AI committee and present at a statewide conference for educators.

I guess people are kind of interested in this AI thing?

I co-created this course on responsible use of AI for college students - it's largely based on my in-person sessions. Moving toward talking about the elephant in the room instead of ignoring it! It's already been adopted by many faculty as an assignment.

People rely on those close to them for information—research shows it. If you share something, especially in your area of expertise, others trust (and might spread) it. Please take this responsibility seriously and think before you post!
