I’ve always loved this piece, but especially after I adopted an Egyptian Baladi from Abydos when I was working there. I always thought she looked like this dog (and the unwrapped dog mummy that was on display at the Tahrir Square Museum).

So it’s perfect; frogs are already a symbol of the Resistance, now with trump’s “piggy” comment, we have the perfect pairing! I want to see pink piggy knit hats, and frog and pig blow up costumes, and Muppets gear at every protest/march! #QuietPiggy #resist

“100% trump and donor funded.” Well, that’s a bright spot in this whole East Wing demo debacle, because then there is no reason we can’t tear that gaudy shit down as soon as these Christofascists are ousted. It would make for great symbolism.
