We teach the meaning of 'contemporary British society' as that is a term within AQA GCSE spec. It doesn't seem to be something all students already know.

Looks lovely. Today I'm walking a little bit of the Jurassic coast. Saw some porpoises (or something like porpoises) in the sea jumping around from the top of thorncombe beacon nearish to West Bay. Loving the holidays!

Oh my goodness! Good luck (both of you). My son too although I didn't teach him - that's intense!!! I've been having strange dreams about his results and my students' GCSE results next week 😬

I love this. I'm using it in a yr11 ethics unit (AQA B Theme A) so that students can become more aware of the complexity of how they and others come to have a variety of views on the issues we will explore.
