Like many writers, I find it very hard to put myself out there. I was so touched by my daughter setting up a display at my local book store for my Mother’s Day present

Need to look at some pics of nature to calm me after twenty chapters of edits have disappeared. I’m very good at doing that 😀

Miss this little guy at my feet (for years) while writing my first novel. Anyone else have writer companions/animal critics?

So grateful to have my daughter as my biggest cheerleader while writing. She read a novel I’d tossed aside, edited it and told me to put it out there.

One of the coolest things about publishing a book in Norway is that the gov will automatically buy 1k copies, 1.5K if its a children's book, these will then be distributed to all the libraries.

Amazed to get anything done, let alone 2,000 words a day minding this pupper squeaking his ball and tugging at my shirt in spite of major play time.

Remember: When you read a book, write a book, buy a book, hold a book, smell a book, get a book from the library, look at books, or talk about books, your body releases booxytocin, which makes you feel better and live longer. Get more books. They’re good for you. It’s science.
