We also have an 85 lb boy. We'd like more snuggles. He doesn't get up onto anything except his dog beds. No couch, car, bed or scale. We think he may have been harshly trained against it. We adopted him a year ago. He's a retired Irish hare courser

Pippin was named after the Hobbit. The first thing he found was the kitchen and the cookie jar. He always wants 2nd breakfast. I've been told he looks more like Shadowfax. His call name was Cal. We weren't going to keep that. It was too generic and it sounded like a used car salesman
