Deaths Game was one of my favorites last year. I also have a soft spot for him bc i went to his DC fanmeeting. He was very kind and really got into everything. I can't wait to see him again in anything now.

i was genuinely glad that they decided to roll with him in drug treatment instead of incarceration. From what I saw months ago, he started on prescription drugs after an accident which left him in terrible pain. Rehab and therapy is a better option in most cases.

Anywat, I did end up deleting our entire convo and blocking. Which sucks. But every night it felt like a new argument. But that's just 1 person. Most of the people I've engaged with have been welcoming, and very sweet. I hope I can meet more who are more open to listen

6/? admit there are big cultural differences. But at the same time, it cannot be one way. If we are learning and trying new things, maybe the new thing we give is more awareness to the world at large. If there's one thing I love abt this country, it's the diversity and how easy it is here to share

5/? I saw one Black artist show how NOT to draw Black people in their comics so they can learn and not be offensive. And the comments were riddled with, "but that's just how we do it." That's not how cultural exchange or respect works.

4/? I don't see the need to continue conversing with him. Every day, he would tell me things to do from his culture (I'll try many things, but not give up ice water). And i noticed it in comments sections across the app too. This casual bigotry towards things they don't understand.

3/? On one hand, I know there's cultural things at play that I - a yt westerner - won't get. But I asked him to stop several times. He basically told me I'm just a silly westerner that doesn't get it. Ok well, this westerner is on this app bc of ppl that think exactly like that and frankly,

2/? really messed up. Be mad at the gaming officials, or be mad at the person you think is cheating, but don't go saying "All [X nationality/ethnicity are [insert insult here]." I even reminded him that how he is talking about them is how the magats here talk about him and other Chinese people.
