Over 40, and just learned how to use 4 new social media apps (and deleted 2 more) this week. I feel like someone should give me a cookie. Old girl has learned new tricks.

One of our smoke alarms decided to go haywire last night, and repeatedly went off in the middle of the night for no reason until we figured out which one it was and unplugged it. I looked at the date on the back of it: it was installed in 2000. Time for new smoke alarms!!

When it seems like the world is either ex- or im-ploding, it’s a good time to put on some tunes and go touch some grass. Or snow. Or just go stare at the moon for awhile.
