When I hear that, I think “what about the people killed by, and children SA’ed by, pardoned J6ers?” Like that’s a much higher percentage of a subsection, so shouldn’t that be a higher concern? Unless, of course, you’re just racist.

Impeachment would only happen after midterms, if Dems get power, in which case Johnson wouldn’t be speaker anymore.

Maybe if mainstream media focused on how Trump screwed over small businesses, “regular” people like those he didn’t pay for the work that built his casino, how he bankrupted that casino anyway, while he sat in his guilded apartment above NYC, maybe that would’ve worked. They don’t care about women.

Yes, my husband and I have to go thru the was it Netflix, Hulu, etc, followed by was it your profile or mine… sometimes only to find the next episode isn’t up yet, which comes as a surprise after watching a couple seasons after the fact.

Rand Paul (not some leftist) said when USCG stopped boats deemed likely to be carrying drugs, they were wrong 25% of the time. Not that we should murder anyone, but his “we’ve been stopping boats for years” suggests they know, and are ok with, killing innocents 1/4 of the time, too. Sick f-ers.

Statistics are facts- younger voters don’t turn out at the same rate as older voters do. Kamala would be president if they did (according to party affiliation for that cohort).

I had to get our vegan cheese from Target yesterday (only place that carries it) and it made me realize how much my shopping has changed- I used to use them very frequently, and now rarely. Unfortunately, I’ve managed to spend elsewhere.

Over half the people really active for Dems (canvassing, post cards, getting people to run against the local Rs, etc) in my town are over 50. Don’t get rid of over 50 voters, instead engage even more young voters- they’re often the ones staying home!

My dad (greatest generation, so even older) used to get mad at his peers that went R bc they cared more about their bank accounts than their fellow countrymen.

Yup, I’m vegetarian since my teen years, eat 99% plant based now and I’m so grateful my mom honored that choice back then. I do the same for others- eat what suits you, live & let live. I won’t begrudge your choices, kindly do the same in return. It’s pretty simple, really.

I have so enjoyed listening to your podcast over the past cpl months. You make all the legalese understandable w/o sounding patronizing. Although I feel anxious listening, as I can’t imagine this administration heeding the court’s rulings, I’m grateful at least 1 branch hasn’t just given in.
