I worked at a comic book shop to pay for groceries while I racked up student loans that didn't cover my basic needs while going to community college. I thought that the whole "parents pay for college" story was a myth until I moved to a different part of the country.

We're desperately trying to get inclusion training made into a mandatory yearly requirement for our supervisors, but we're not getting very far with it. I hope the wave of enlightenment does better in your circles.

We have been asking ourselves the same questions lately. We don't have a strong family or community connection anywhere, so where should we land? Politics, weather, and accessibility to our hobbies are driving our conversations.
