Got my pet therapy at work today.
One of our former residents had 2 daughters that still visit regularly. The Friday daughter lives in the country and has a whole family of dogs - maybe she breeds them?

The #coffeeoutside game was strong this morning - or a memorial/vigil for our fallen comrade, Dr. Darren Markland.
To all the people there who I doubtless know online, I meant to talk to as many of you as possible, but there were so many people there! No slight was intended.

I remember now, there was a team of keeners and a team of slackers for the 2016 24hrs Of Adrenaline in Canmore, AB. Where it had been raining for at least 3 days. And Darren Markland had to lend me a proper mountain bike.

We finally had a wake for my aunt who passed away in January.
There were family, Unitarian Church people, and Wagner Bog Natural Area group people there.
It was nice - and with that kind of crowd there, we weren't the only crazy #yegbike cyclists!

For the kidlet's recent celebration, I was also taken with providing the sound system. A very heavy aging tube amp and microphone array were carted by bicycle to and from the event in the community hall. Luckily a more or less level route is possible.

For the kidlet's recent celebration, I was given the task of bartending. Her neighbour donated a Jockey Box with Keg of Italian Pilsner from Odd Company brewing.
Such fun to assembled, much more fun to draw pitchers and pints!
A keg of beer is being attached to a distribution system with various hoses and canisters into a modified cooler. The neighbour who is a founder of the Odd Company brewery assembles the system with the help of his young son. An enthusiastic father of the bride (me) is drawing a pitcher of beer from a Jockey Box draught beer system at a community hall kitchen.

This road trip has had a side quest of me finding sloppy-joe type meals at family diners. Komfort Kitchen in Brandon MB was a high contender with a pulled-beef BBQ burger, on a locally produced bun. Cafe 4U in Battleford SK had high marks with Teppanyaki Beef.

Food culture and newer Canadians able to make their own cuisines more publicly is a great benefit to Western Canada.
Imagine stopping on an old-school prairie town main street like in Battleford - and find deluxe Asian cuisine!

I’m having a baked feta pita platter at the Olympia Diner in #ypg. The ex-pat is the wife’s friend, so I get lots of time to play on the phone while enjoying the excellent, but still piping hot, baked cheese platter.

Trailers, tents, all repaired. Wagons ho!

A gravel bike is picture with a Burley Travoy trailer now attached. Rivets are now replaced by nutted bolts. Arm of trailer now replaced with new mechanism. Specialized tools not available at home were required.

The tent as the seals are hopefully re-sealing and re-waterproofing.
A tent has the fly reversed to allow the waterproof seals to hopefully become waterproofed once more. In the shade are our gravel bikes.

#yegbike commute; crazy warm at +19°C, with light southeast winds- I wore shorts TO work. Streets blessedly quiet, street life asleep or something, dog walkers, joggers and other bikes on the paths.

The North Saskatchewan Riverbank, with Rossdale Neighbourhood immediately up the back, and Downtown Edmonton atop the River Valley Cliff. A stream of pollen issues into the river, presumably from the recent light rain from the recent light thunderstorm.
