Not sure if this quote was truncated or not, but if no, then WTH does it even mean? Some numbers were "done?" How does that work, and which "numbers" are we talking about here? Classic propagandist non-speak.

Obviously they're way past the point where one's pay is tied to the actual value of the work they put in.

Sure he can step down OR MAYBE how 'bout they stop giving $ to MAGA and restore their DEI initiatives? Apparently the former is the preferred option? Boooooo.

I'm not sure how Gavin plans to do this from a state-wide standpoint, but I've changed my payroll setup so fewer of my CA-earned dollars go into the national kitty. It makes paltry difference at this point I know, but I don't want my $ going to ICE or that stupid ballroom so am trying my best.

It's not even just ads on socials that push this - my infernal (and soon to be former) bank Chase regularly asks me if I want to break down purchases I ALREADY made into multiple payments. Like, huh? Once upon a time banks were staid & fiscally conservative, now everyone's in the rip off game.
