Ok, but hear me out: he's not wrong.

Olivia Julianna wrote a piece about this topic back a few months ago. I thought it was definitely worth considering. (She got heat for her position, though.)

We Should Care More About Young Men
Republicans have taken over the cultural spaces beloved by young men, and Democrats have failed to create a space for them within our party.

He's just shameful. I listened to his portion of the hearing because he's one of my Senators, but he's truly an embarrassment to the state of Kansas.

Yeah, I don't know how many studies have been done on it, so I wonder how uncommon it really is? But I didn't even think about it until someone mentioned the "red apple test" in FB a couple years ago. Then I realized I totally have it!

Yes, that's a thing. I can't imagine what it's like, but I'm also one of those people who doesn't have the ability to form mental images (it's called aphantasia, apparently). So I guess there are lots of ways to be odd as a human! 😆😎

I love that there's a T1D Barbie, too. But that she made this for her son is so awesome! 😎🥹

If your sources are raising more questions without giving any answers, you might look outside of those sources for more info.

After hearing about concerns folks had, I looked into state laws for audits. I like ours here in KS, & question others, but they exist in every state.

Where, besides that one situation in NY that has been shared widely, is there evidence of anomalies? And how do folks account for these anomalies in light of required post-election audits? Do swing states not have audits in place?

somewhat old-timey custom of the past, and got me curious. And nostalgic. ::sigh::)

This is a good question. The only story about it that I've been able to find thus far doesn't mention those deets...just that he's ordering Bondi to work with HHS and HUD to prioritize sending grant money to places that comply with their enforcements on drug use, camping, etc...😞

Noooo. No he didn't. I get how it sounds like it could be him, but that's a fake post. I searched it, just to be sure, and Snopes says it's false.

Nor did he say “Focus on MEXICANS and FLOODING” on Truth Social.

KCMO Pride was held the 1st was June 6-8, & consisted of several events, including a parade. Unfortunately, weather was awful this year, but turnout and energy was still awesome!

I think what we're talking about in this thread is more about protests, and not Pride events. I could be wrong, tho. 🤷‍♀️

Looks like in past years, NYC has drawn a crowd of up to 2.5M for their Pride celebrations. Fingers crossed it happens again! 🤞🤞🌈

Their 2025 Pride is tomorrow, the 29th.

I hear you. But those folks in the Pride celebration in Budapest came from all over the country, and maybe even from neighboring countries, in some cases.

Chicago may have a population of 2.6M, but you have to also consider demographics. ✌️

I live in the KC metro. If I wanted to join an event as large as the one we see here, I'd likely have to get myself to Chicago, which is over 8 hrs by car, and slightly longer by train. Quick flight, but that's not as attainable to all.

See what I'm saying?

It would be nice to see, tho! 💗

I see folks make comments like this often. It's not as easy to do here in the U.S., unfortunately. The population per square mile is much lower in the U.S. compared to smaller countries like Hungary, just to start. Also must consider ease of transport there compared to here.
