I was explaining this very thing to my teenaged kids that kids from the 80s saw all his vapidness because he was on the cover of tabloids at the supermarket checkout and we knew he was a bad man.

Dude...I have to buy my own cleaning supplies to wipe the desks. I work here and another job to make ends meet and barely. There's no a/c in my room and it is the Caribbean.
