Happy to be here 😊
No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater than central air.

Same.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

My son and I ended up making a quadruple feature out of it, watching Knives Out and Glass Onion first, then Wake Up Dead Man, followed by Dogma. So much fun!

Blame isn't going to matter as much as we'd like it to if whichever party is in charge continues to do nothing.

Hell, no.

It's nuts. The last time my son and I went, our theater was selling a normal sized water bottle for $6.

Exactly! I don't want a more "premium experience". All that means is more expensive. I want a comfortable chair, decent sound and projection, cheap food, and a non-distracting audience while the movie is playing. It's not rocket science.

Otherwise unless it's a "spoilers" issue, no length of theatrical window is going to put my butt in a movie theater seat when I have books, movies, crocheting, games, good food, and a very comfy couch waiting at home. Other than time, movie-going should be something you don't have to budget for.

All "premium" ever ends up translating to is more expensive, never better. And going to the movies is already too expensive! I feel cost is the biggest barrier to entry. If you fix that, have sound and projection on point, and enforce good behavior while the movie is playing, I would show up more...

They finally go back to work and this is what they spend their time on. Ugh.

After what we pay in taxes for the stadiums, etc. (and just on principle, honestly), local games should be available locally. (How do you expect to have a fan base otherwise?)

I miss the olden days when I could watch my team's games on a local broadcast station. Once MLB started moving games to specific sports tiers (where you still couldn't watch all the games) that my provider either didn't offer or charged through the nose for, I stopped watching for the most part.
