The players have no idea where to be and when because they’re not being coached well. They can’t pass their way out of not fundamentally understanding the structure they’re supposed to be in

People are calling for Ange’s head because, despite all the injuries, the players he has don’t looked coached, there’s no clear attacking tactics, no defensive structure, and the players aren’t turning up. He can’t even instill the mentality he’s claiming to be working on!

It hurts but the reality is that his output is not good enough. Burkardt has been excellent and it’s time for Weiper to step into the first team. Hope he finds a good landing spot

He would be so good for them. Hasn’t quite worked for him in Portugal, Lage doesn’t seem to know how to use him.

Do you guys actually watch football? If ange changes his tactics then Liverpool can’t bludgeon our players into a place where those errors happen. It’s a game of moments but it’s the context around those moments that’s actually significant

Everyone assumes “adapt” means “park the bus”. Change the positioning of some players, mark tighter in the midfield, and don’t let Liverpool get into 2v2 after 2v2 the whole match

Every half decent manager changes their game plan depending on the opponent… except for ange, even when he knows we’re going to get blown out. He should be adapting every game.

Based on recent results? Yes, those were absolutely flukes. Bring me a Frank or a Topmoller who starts with a defensive structure and builds from there, not a manager who thinks defense is an afterthought
