Cuts to social security are undermining women’s human rights. Since 2010, benefits have been cut in real terms and access has become more restrictive.

Women—especially Disabled women, low-income women and women from minority-ethnic backgrounds—have borne the brunt.

Consultation on #PathwaytoWork excludes #DisabilityCuts. Instead of listening to people with a disability they are leaving it to a parliamentary vote. What happened to nothing about us without us? Amnesty International Uk are supporting Disability Rights Organisations to demand answers.

Cuts to disability benefits are riding roughshod over human rights. Poverty is a political choice, and ending it is possible should those in powers choose to.
