My first Goldcrest sighting! A rainy day, and of course I’d left my camera at home, so had to make do with my phone. Not a great photo, but this made me very happy!
A rather blurry image of a Goldcrest perched momentarily on an upright twig in a hedge. Tail pointing down. Beak pointing up. Large black eye relative to size. Yellow crest on head just about visible. Not a good photo, but it captured a moment of excitement for me.

Blurry photo of small bird in flight. There is a flash of yellow across the wings, suggesting it is a goldfinch. Definitely not clear in this rubbish photo though.
