Ideally they should be closing out PPV’s and open TV on the regular. It’s shocking that Toni and Mariah’s Hollywood ending didn’t main event over that awful 3 way for the Men’s Belt. It’s shocking given the level of talent and popularity that they have been the main opener of a show so little

Full disclosure I have realised over the last few years that I don’t enjoy wresting on tv as a format, but I understand why things go on when they do.

Is it even possible to change the perception that the main event isn’t the key match on a tv wrestling show compared to on a PPV or attending a live event?

Should we just continue to put the key people/best built match in the main event just because that is the pre-agreed norm regardless of the viewing audience or should you put them in the spots that the most people will see?

Like it’s not feasible at all but the thought of flying to Japan, watching wrestling and not seeing Hiromu (or Naito but that’s more tricky) in a big show makes me sad

I get that much with just NJPW some weeks let alone the other 3* I follow + adhoc match’s that people do in other promotions
