The larger cat is a vintage Avon perfume bottle holding Here's My Heart cologne. When I was 7, a great- grandmother I'd not yet met sent me a tiny bottle of the same cologne from across the country, so the scent is poignant for me.

A variation on a tea tableau using coffee, instead. Upon a blue MidCentury atomic tablecloth there is a yellow Fiestaware oval tray holding two Jacobs coffee cups and a jeweled enameled rooster trinket box. Behind them are a shiny chrome MidCentury Modern coffee percolator and a blue and yellow bag of Horn and Hardart Automat coffee.

The teapot is a rescue. It has a crack in back, making it unsuitable for holding tea, and so was about to be discarded, but I find it perfectly decorative and asked if I could bring it home with me, instead. 😊
