I'm lucky enough to have lived through the Golden age of the USA. My career was in education. I had the opportunity to teach from elementary through college at one time or another. I love to read, knit, walk, hike and spend time with friends and family.
I'm likely going to cancel my WaPo subscription. It's like the no Kings March didn't even happen. The story was pushed down out of the top 10 news stories before the marches were even were over.

I keep trying to find more information about the No Kings marches on Saturday. The more I look the less I find. The stories are poorly written, have little detail, and are largely non-existent even on news sources such as the WaPo. I'm disgusted at how little coverage this MAJOR event got.

Support the Roadless Rule, we only have until September 19th to tell the Agricultural Dept. to leave our public lands wild.

I had this pot from last summer stored under a porch. I got it out about a month ago and started watering it to get it ready to repot some roses in. Lots of little green leaves popped up almost immediately. A friend looked at it and said those look like petunias! Sure enough, they self seeded!

Saw this beauty tonight outside my door. There is a desert willow tree that just bloomed. It sure was pretty.

The PINO frump administration also stiffed the religious organizations that helped with resettlement of immigrants and undocumented children. I think it's time that we make a giant shroud and throw it over the Statue of Liberty. We don't welcome anyone here anymore.
