It's crazy to always see the push back on this concept. Yes , that person makes 6 figures instead of five, but they aren't much better of than me compared to those that make 7,8 of more figures who are hoarding wealth.

Yeah, that's been weird from the start. My only thought is kinetic makes it sound more surgical then blew up a fishing boat with a guided missile.

Fair enough, I know locally here a the Seattle Film Festival they show indie asian american made films, but i can't think of anything bigger then local foundations. Justin Lin might be the director to follow on that front being he turned his indie film into a Fast & Furious prequel.

I'm not sure there is yet, but there are starting to be more successful directors and producers and maybe one of them will do the Tyler Perry thing and start a mini studio.
