It's a software issue, SDK support is apparently terrible and AMD has not changed their attitude towards it for years. Would be great to have a good open CUDA alternative

As long as AMD is terrible at AI (and there are no other competitors) nVidia can maintain it's monopoly pricing. So at least for now, it's still different from the Cisco case. Cisco just builds network devices and has lost high margin markets I guess?

I used the dhyana 2100 and it was terrible. We had to mail for 2 weeks to receive any software for it, and then it turns out to be just a c++ app with Chinese comments. Their customer service is awful. The other cameras might be better but for the 2100 they only have some older version of their sdk
