When it's a choice between 60 and 120 tho, that's a lot less clear cut than 30 Vs 60 imo. 4k60 prime 4 is gonna be gorgeous. Not sure if it'll be worth the dip to 1080p if playing on a big TV, just for 120fps.

for real, i feel like there must be a lot of new games on the way as the past year+ has felt a bit slow on the switch front. i'm also hoping the graphical performance is at least a consistent 60fps and 1080p with performance patches for switch 1 games to match

i think across the board the jumps have been pretty small recently because we are kinda approaching the peak of graphics (look at xbox one -> series X, ps4 -> ps5). as long as the switch 2 can consistently hit 60fps and above 1080p, that's all itll need to not feel aged like the switch 1 does now

Because all of the alternative versions of the Switch 1 had the naming convention of "Switch"+[other word]. Using a number instead makes it more explicit that its actually the next generation of the console and not something else from the same family, i.e. Switch Oled, Switch Lite, Super Switch
