Board update: According to a local rider with connections to an esk8 repair tech, “lids just do that.” Also the cells in the board should vent rather than swell. Seems like crisis averted.

Board update: the front is swelling! That’s the battery under there, it definitely shouldn’t be doing that. I think it’s officially time to reach for customer service. This sucks.

Spent 6 weeks off riding recovering and trying to find a helmet. 2nd ride back and the board cuts off and I eat it again. Unbelievable really.
