Helping Detroit's homeless since 2013. Philanthropist. Physicist. Scientist. Amateur historian. Organizer. Data driven with a big fucking mouth. I am a man of difficult fate.
January 15th, 2025, Biden is still President, 5 days before Trump took office, Hamas & Israel reached a ceasefire deal. Trump takes credit. January 29th, 2025, Trump is now President, 9 days after Biden left office, the deadliest plane crash since 2001 happens. Trump blames Biden. Huh

The most realistic part of the Jurassic Park movies, is that no one learns a lesson, ever. If anything, they just get stupider as they repeat the same easily identifiable and avoidable mistakes over and over and over. Somehow this seems relevant right now.

I really hope this place works out, but as of right now, I feel like I got to the nightclub two-hours too early, all the lights are still on, there's no music playing, and there are a couple of other random people meandering through a mostly empty 10,000 square foot ballroom with 35' high ceilings.

It's been difficult to learn, and accept, that what I assume is the obvious solution and/or action in any given situation, is not that obvious to anyone else around me.

Apparently the allowed word count for posts on this platform is more inline with "Twitter" than it is with Facebook, which I'll have to get used to since I often like to write short novels on my FB posts. Looks like I'm running of space on this post already...only forty letters left before I get cut
