You're a brave soul to tackle the 100 Baby Challenge! A household full of toddlers was enough to overwhelm me away from that challenge and return to casual play.

Once the half hour writing sprint is done, I can go back and clean up what I wrote. But for 30 minutes, the whole goal is to put words on the page and give myself something to work with. The visual cue of the moving sand has been a great motivation for me.

Susanna Clarke is great! A few years ago I got PIRANESI for Christmas and loved it, so I immediately bought JONATHAN STRANGE & MR NORRELL, which I loved even more.
