Very curious what is the thought behind ABAP code like this. Nevermind the fact that there is no reason to put anything in INITIALIZATION (there is no CONSTRUCTOR in lcl... class and it's not used on selection screen). But like... just... WTF? Does someone have no trust in object creation? 😵

SAP Devtoberfest starts next week (September 29). If it continues tradition of the yesteryears, I definitely recommend freeing up some time (schedule a meeting with yourself 😉 ) to partake. ABAP is on Monday (aren't we lucky? 😅 ). The sessions are recorded.
