It’s even more terrible that this is happening while Trump is in office. Congress has abdicated its power of the purse to him, and we know he wont spend a dime on foreign aid unless it benefits him in some way. Tragic. Recovery will rely on private time and donations.

We’re slipping into it. We’re at a point where we still have the ability to protest and I thiiink elections are still clean(ish), but the window is closing. These are really the last moments to turn this around before the system breaks and we get stuck a Russia-esque dictatorship.

Wild. And he assumes that because him and his donors are footing the bill, institutions by and for the American people don’t get a say. Its nauseating.

I appreciate it, but does this do anything? I know our reps have their hands tied, I get it. Unfortunately seeing this doesn’t make me feel anything because I know it’ll be proposed then disappear.

I think you’re giving independents wayyy too much credit.

Many independents may assume Trump might not be so bad if they see a wide spectrum of mainstream media giving him kudos for accomplishments.

The more I think about this it’s crazy. You’re literally making the point that media should validate Trump whenever they can… what? Because then he’ll try to please them more? That’s pretty pollyanna.

The danger here is that conservative media would cherry-pick democratic approval of Trump policies, and give off the appearance that the president has bipartisan support. This could also confuse the voter base into thinking that maybe Trump isn’t so bad, willing to look past grave abuses of power.

A friend sent me a video with those flowers and I used all kinds of technology to figure out what that plant was, and could not. The closest I got was Euonymus americanus. Looked close, and that led me to believe it must be a euonymus, but I couldn’t figure which one. Thanks for solving the puzzle!
