Try getting a quote for any procedure! Can any practitioner just quote a flat fee for anything beyond a standard checkup which is planned in advance? I’ve never seen a practice that could simply offer a fee schedule. It’s just too complicated.

Can’t imagine the ego needed to blame people for getting cancer, Parkinson’s, type 1 diabetes, MS, etc., and thinking that you can avoid this fate just because you’re you.

Absolutely right. The only thing Trump has ever been honest about is what a terrible person he is. The fact that so many people chose to say yeah, that’s fine, never ceases to amaze and appall me.

We had to get permits to add a screened in porch to our suburban home, yet he can tear down a historic building that in no way belongs to him. And no one stops him. I’ll never understand why.

I ask that exact question all the time. My only theory is that when you have so much money you lose all motivation to do hard things. So it’s up to us regular people to do the hard stuff like saving democracy.
