Ukraine has no nukes. In fact they gave up nukes as part of the Budapest Memorandum of 1994. Another important feature was that prohibited Russia, the U.S. , and U.K. from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine.

Russia has never wanted a negotiated peace. Putin simply wants to conquer Ukraine. If Putin had captured Ukraine in “three days,” as his hapless generals told him they could, he would not have stopped there.

It’s far beyond disappointing that @BennieGThompson would refer to the murder of National Guardsmen as an “accident.” There was murderous intent —— nothing in it was an accident.
