This is similar to the way the flow of FFXVI felt to me (without the nagging). Very structured and rigid in terms of quests/side content. Only diff is I enjoyed the main story and combat in FFVIIR2. For a while after X I felt the need to defend Square's new directions. I have not since XIII 🤣

I can say with certainty that Kingdom Hearts 3 was a disappointment for me. Didn't include Final Fantasy characters which was always a huge draw for me. Combat was very mashy and brain dead. And of course somehow the story/dialogue was worse by even Kingdom Hearts' standards. Riku VA needs to go too

I don't know but good luck. This and CBC gem and all the other garbage can die in obscurity for all I care. Terrible ui that stops working often.
