Making progress on Hamilton doll. I was thrown for a loop recently with a breast cancer diagnosis and kinda didn’t feel like doing anything. But, I’m making this for my Hamilton obsessed teen daughter, so I got back to it. Anyway, he’s adorable and fuck cancer!

The things I do for my kids. I’m currently crocheting Lin Manuel Miranda as Hamilton or my 14 yr old daughter. Amigurumi is not my jam, but so far, so good. His arms are even posable! If this goes well, I’ll do other characters from the Cast of Hamilton too because I’m a glutton for punishment.

I am not a pro, but I do love to get creative when making cakes for special occasions. My teen daughter is obsessed with Hamilton currently. Naturally I made her a Hamilton theme cake. Last year was a Taylor Swift Eras cake.

Our tradition is to watch A Christmas story on Christmas Eve with hot cocoa then again while we open gifts in the morning. Since she can’t be home this year, my middle daughter sent me this. I can’t stop laughing!

2 years ago, chatting with my ex husband about Christmas gifts for our 3 adult kids. My husband and I have a daughter, age 13 now, and I told my ex about the trampoline she is getting. My Son is the only of my 3 oldest that lives in the area and visits regularly. This was that exchange.

I had an Iris bloom in November, about 6 months too late or 6 months too early. Wish I had thought to take a picture of it while it was snowing. That pic would have perfectly summed up this weird fucking year.

I rearranged the family room. Something I do every couple of years. The teenager comes home from school and says, “EW! Put it back how it was! I hate it!” She’s so sweet. 😐
