A drummer who gets distracted.
Making music as if the 80s never quite happened, music from nineteen seventy twelve or thirteen..
..her mocking smile says it all..

I'm tech'ing a conference today, and very impressed that the refreshments table has milk jugs for both left- and right-handed folk

Literally catering for everyone

First John Hackett Band gig of the year..

I've added keys to the right, and a new chapeau for when we play bits of @stevehacketthq.bsky.social's Voyage Of The Acolyte - or when I need to impersonate a dome of St Basil's

He took a long drag and ruffled his mane as the smell of strawberry and lime filled the air.

"You see, Lucy", he said wistfully, "I still have a bit of the Old Magic.."

Christmas Day saw an honest to goodness TRIFLE BOWL WITH INTEGRATED LEGS! Apparently around a century old. An amazing piece of glassware.

The trifle was pretty good too.

So he's Rod Stewart now, is he? Elvis not good enough for him?

Perhaps if the school had done a Nativity play, they'd only have had to find two more..

It's so close to #Christmas!
Still stuck with what to get someone as a #present? Why not a ticket to one of the folky/ progressivey/ tale-tellingy evenings at The Lantern Theatre in #Sheffield, 2025 :-)

Have a gander at the image, then www.facebook.com/RoughDraftAu... for further details

We'll probably be awash with #snow pix.. Don't care. I love the snow. And I love that I get to be caretaker of this place <3

Poor showing on the fauna front overnight. C+. Could do better.

Reminded of William Connolly's eternal vexation: how does the guy who drives the snowplough get to work?

Going to be absolute pandemonium now with all this snow..
